I'm a highly detail-oriented investigator, problem-solver, and craftsman. I work closely with clients to find the best solutions to tricky problems. I can work the range from creative quick fix to detailed restoration; or from existing product installation to bespoke design/build project. I commonly use design iteration as needed to help zero in on your ideal, utilizing CAD for fabrication & site plans, 3D modeling for design pre-visualization, or 3D-printing for prototyping.
I also have a range of skills to build or repair just about anything non-structural in your home or vehicle: general handyperson, carpentry, metal fabrication & welding, plastic & metal 3D printing, and CNC laser cutting & engraving. And with a network of excellent licensed tradesfolk, I happily give referrals and defer to specialists when licensing is required for your project, or when I think it they could do the job more efficiently or cost-effectively for you.
Hailing from Saint Paul, Minnesota, I enjoy finding adventures big and small with family and friends. I recharge with fresh air and exploring the great outdoors by foot, or boat, or four-wheel-drive. In work and life I like to leave it better than I found it!

"I’m a retired Architect, living in a1929 house and we remodeled and put on an addition, 2018-2019. As with all big projects, a few punch list items have been hanging around. Nick finished one of the projects, encasing the new electrical panel with a frame and cabinet door. Some slightly wonky sheet rock work, meant needing to cut into the sheet rock so the frame could be straight and true. Nick was a perfectionist and installed the door & frame. Great cleanup. The cost was more than fair."
